Are you a qualified and professional trainer?

Yes, my achievements are listed below:

  • BA HONS degree in Sport, Leisure and Culture,
  • Level 3 Personal Trainer,
  • BTEC National Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science.

Do I have to bring equipment with me?

We supply the equipment for most types of sessions, as we operate from your local gym for more information about which local gym we are at please contact us.

What should I wear?

Anything that you are comfortable in, and does not restrict freedom of movement, wearing a t shirt is fine, however after the workout; you may wish to remain warm so we recommend bringing a sweat shirt.

How long is a personal training session?

The average personal training session is between 45 min to 60 mins.

Diet & Nutrition FAQ

Should I Eat Before Training?

It’s always good to get a pre-workout snack or meal in before training. Not eating before a workout can result in low blood sugar, which leads to light-headedness and early fatigue. Avoid heavy meals and junk food, and go for something light and healthy to get the best out of your workout. For more information on Nutrition please click here.

Do I need to totally change my diet when I start training?

When training it’s always good to start eating healthier. Cutting out some of the junk food and drink is always advised as you will see and feel differences much quicker within yourself.

Can you help me with meal plans?

Yes we can help you set a meal plan we also suggest to start off to keep a food diary, as when you join our long term programs we give you all the templates and tools you can use to track your diet.

Am I allow cheat meals, If I follow a meal plan?

Yes you are allowed one cheat meal.

How often should I train?

Around three times each week should be enough for you to start feeling and seeing results. Although, you will get more out of it if you put more in.

Do I only need to exercise to lose weight?

If your goals are to lose weight you will have to also need to eat healthy, a combination of a healthy diet and exercise will help you lose weight. By making small changes to your diet you will be amazed how much weight you can lose by make slight changes.

Why do I need to drink water regularly?

We recommend you should drink an average of 2.5 litres of water daily to keep hydrated. You may need to drink more water whilst exercising. You can get away with drinking cups of tea, fruit, and vegetable juices or carbonated drinks a main ingredient of these drinks is water so it is fine.

Can I set the time I work out?

Clients can book sessions and train when they want. Existing clients may have taken your preferred times and your first choice may not be available, so it’s best to be flexible.

I am busy at work and can only train weekends or after work, do you have training times available?

a. Yes we train clients after work and weekends, please feel free to book a training session and see available time slots on our training calendar.
